A building was damaged after a car crashed into a gas station in Boston, according to Boston Police. BPD were called to the scene on Meridian Street in East Boston around 9:30 on Friday night.
No major injuries were reported in the crash, and the driver remained on scene as EMS traveled to the scene to evaluate him.

The owner of the gas station told Boston 25 News the driver lost control pulling in, and said several people were in the store when the crash happened. He went on to mention that this is the third time that a car has crashed into that building.
The gas station was damaged as the car crashed into the front of the building. Inspection services were on the scene following the crash and determined that the building is structurally sound.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known. There is no word on when the gas station will be reopened.
