EASTHAM, Mass. — The body of a missing person was found in a wooded area in Eastham on Sunday morning, police say.
Eastham Police responded to the area near Hemenway Landing for a report of an unconscious person around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Officers determined the man found was deceased, and that he was the subject of an investigation for a missing person that had been going on for days.
The search was suspended Friday night at around 9:30 p.m. due to lack of visibility and exhaustion, and was suspended again after no results came in Saturday's search.
