YORK, Maine — A Lowell man is wanted in connection with a shooting in York, Maine, according to a release from the York Police Department.
Law enforcement issued a felony arrest warrant for Nathaniel Rivera, 27, of Lowell, who is wanted on multiple charges: robbery, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and burglary.
According to officials, a male victim called police overnight Friday telling them he had been shot during an attempted robbery at his York residence. That victim also claims the two male suspects stole his truck at the time of the crime.

That victim sustained gunshot wounds to the lower leg and foot, police described his injuries as non-life-threatening in the release.
Police in York recovered the victim's truck during their investigation, which does remain ongoing.
Rivera was identified by York PD with assistance from multiple Maine police departments, as well as law enforcement from Lowell and Tyngsborough, Mass.
