Commuters will be happy to hear the news that Commonwealth Avenue reopened for cars on Saturday morning.
The road had been closed since July 26 as part of the Comm. Ave. bridge project, and was back up and running after a 15-day closure.

The Boston University Bridge also reopened up for cars later on in the day on Saturday.
The $110 million bridge replacement project, which would take about four to five years under conventional techniques and would require significant lane closures and service disruptions, is scheduled for completion by 2019 under the accelerated plans.
