Dedham — This will be the 15th year that a PGA championship golf tournament will be played at TPC Boston over Labor Day weekend.

For the previous 14 years the tournament was called "The Deutsche Bank Championship".  But in 2017 the tournament has a new sponsor and will now be called " The Dell Technologies Championship".

The top 100 players in the FEDEX cup standings will compete in the second round of the PGA Tour playoffs. The tournament is played from Friday to Monday because of the Labor Day holiday.  But the gates are open to the public starting Wednesday when many of the players will play a practice round at TPC Boston.

Boston 25 Sports Director Tom Leyden sat down with Rich Brady, the Executive Director of The Dell Technologies Championship to discuss all the changes to enhance the course and the viewing experience.
