With Julian Edelman's season-ending knee injury the Patriots not only loss their most productive receiver, they lost the emotional leader of that group as well. Chris Hogan spoke about he loss of Edelman after Monday's practice, “Jules is a great player. He was the leader of our room. I mean we have a bunch of leaders in that room, but he’s a guy that people look to. He helped me a lot. Coming in here last year as a first-year player, here on this team with this offense, he was a guy I looked to for answers. I will continue to do that.”

“I am going to miss him every day in the locker room," Danny Amendola said. "He will be around. He’s a leader on this team and we’re going to miss him on the field. He’s one of the strongest people I know. He will be good.”
