The Patriots have made a trade with the Bears, acquiring linebacker Jonathan Bostic from Chicago.
Bostic, at 6'1", led the Bears in tackles last season, but did not play in the Bears loss to Seattle Sunday afternoon. A third-year vet from Florida, Bostic hasn't meshed with John Fox's new system in Chicago.
To make room for Bostic on the roster, the Patriots have released rookie running back Travaris Cadet. Cadet will be eligible to return to the practice squad if he clears waivers.
