Las Vegas, NV -- Celtics guard Marcus Smart left the Celtics and Blazers game in the second quarter after injuring his right hand. Smart fell to the floor and dislocated his middle and index fingers and was done for the night.
Smart started the game fast scoring 7 points with 2 steals before his unfortunate injury. Smart had an MRI and the results were negative, they revealed no broken bones.
Smart tweeted Friday, "Thanks to everyone for the prayers thanks to the staff for all that they did to help just a minor set back for major comeback".
Smart actually returned to the floor in the second half of the game to cheer on his teammates.
