Celtics re-sign Jonas Jerebko

Jonas Jerebko, acquired in a midseason trade with the Detroit Pistons last season, has signed a new contract and will return to the Celtics. Jerebko confirmed the signing with a tweet from his account saying, "Feels great to be back in green and white! #CelticNation"

Jerebko played 29 games with Boston last year, averaging 7.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.  He came to Boston along with Luigi Datome in exchange for Tayshuan Prince, who played briefly in Boston last season after beginning the season in Memphis.

Entering his sixth NBA season, Jerebko provides energy off the bench with an ability to drive and score.

The two-year deal is expected to pay Jerebko $10 million, but its reported the second year is not guaranteed.
