Every week, the world’s best seek to outrace each other on the sport’s most challenging courses that feature tight corners, fast straightaways, challenging rhythm sections, and massive triple jumps. These tracks pack excitement into every inch of dirt and Gillette Stadium provides the backdrop for one of the most challenging tracks of the season.
Ryan Dungey is the reigning 2015 Monster Energy Supercross Champion and 2015 ESPY Award winner for Best Male Action Sports Athlete. The Red Bull KTM factory rider burst into the 450SX class in 2010 and is one of the most consistent riders on the track. Holding onto the points lead since Round 2 in San Diego, Calif., Dungey's combination of speed and consistency has made him a tough defender this entire season. At this writing, Dungey holds the record for most consecutive podiums dating back to last year, and fans can expect to see Dungey in full form as the future Hall of Famer continues to defend his title and expand his podium streak.

Holding tight to second place in the points standings is Ken Roczen who continues to show his fighting spirit. Originally hailing from Germany, Roczen is perhaps the hottest young 450SX racer in the Monster Energy Supercross series. Claiming his first ever Monster Energy Cup Championship last year in Las Vegas, Roczen has been a force to reckon with in 2016.
The Monster Energy Supercross Pit Party at Gillette Stadium will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. where fans can expand their racing experience by walking among the riders, mechanics and motorcycles before the race. Meet the champions in the flesh, take a photo with a lovely Monster Energy Girl, witness the non-stop action of the off-road drifting trucks and catch live music throughout the day at the Radio 92.9 Superstage. Opening ceremonies start at 3:30 p.m.
