A man who allegedly shined a laser at Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium was cited Monday, prosecutors said.
Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Tuesday that 64-year-old Dwyan Morgan faces a single count of disturbing the peace for his alleged involvement in the incident.
The citation was filed in Jackson County Municipal Court, where the man is scheduled to appear on July 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
Evidence in the case showed that Brady was unaware of the laser being shined at him during the game.
