Gordon Hayward has agreed to a four-year, $128M deal with the Celtics, a deal that includes a player option in the final season. The Celtics have long been called a team that couldn't attract free-agent, that's not the case anymore. This is the second time in as many seasons they have signed a premier free-agent last summer it was Al Horford (4-years, $133M).
Hayward was an All-Star this past season, averaging 21.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
He played his first seven NBA seasons with the Jazz, who selected Hayward out of Butler with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.
