Colin Kaepernick Broncos new quarterback

The Denver Broncos may have their new starting Quarterback after all.  According to ESPN's Adam Schefter San Francisco and Denver have the parameters of an agreement in principle on a trade that would send Kaepernick to Denver for a mid round draft pick.  However the deal is contingent on Kaepernick and the Broncos agreeing on a restructured contract.

Kaepernick's salary cap hit for 2016 is scheduled to be $15.9 million.  He is due to make $11.9 million in base salary for this next season.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Kaepernick and Broncos executive vice president of football operations/general manager John Elway have met at least once trying to get a deal done

The Denver Quarterback situation has been a turnstile since the Bronco's won the Superbowl back in February.  Peyton Manning retired.  Brock Osweiler signed with the Houston Texans as a free agent.  Mark Sanchez was acquired by Denver in a trade with Philadelphia.
