CHESTNUT HILL — Boston College announced the hiring of Scot Loeffler as offensive coordindator Tuesday afternoon.
"I am excited to have Scot Loeffler and his family join the Boston College football family," head coach Steve Addazio said. "Scot and I have worked together at Florida and he was my offensive coordinator at Temple where we won nine games, including the first bowl victory in 32 years.
"He is regarded as one of the best quarterbacks coaches in the country and has a tremendous insight into the passing game and the offense as a whole. He is bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to BC."
Loeffler has worked with many successful college quarterbacks throughout his career, including Tom Brady, Tim Tebow and Chad Henne.
"I am excited to be a part of Coach Addazio's program. Boston College is not only a great academic institution with a great college community, but it also has rich football tradition," Loeffler said.
