It’s almost summertime and pools are starting to open and it’s important to brush up on all pool safety tips!
As summertime gets closer, Assistant Chief Glenn Johnson from the Auburn Fire Department reminds us of a few pool safety tips! First, all pools, both in ground or above ground, should have fences surrounding them. Next, when around a pool, it is important to be aware of your surroundings, the pool, and all people swimming. Even if kids know how to swim, never leave them alone in a pool, even just for a second. Finally, learn CPR in case of an emergency.
