The club that led the majors with 108 wins this season eliminated the defending champion Houston Astros with a 4-1 victory in Game 5 of the ALCS. The Red Sox are 5-0 on the road this postseason as they seek their fourth crown in 15 years.
The Dodgers took Game 7 of the NL Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers with a 5-1 win on Saturday night, landing their 23rd pennant.
