DUXBURY, Mass. — A 28-year-old man died from injuries suffered Saturday when a cut-off saw kicked back and hit his neck.
The man was working at a construction site in Duxbury for a private company on a water line to new construction homes.
The saw hit his neck around 2:30 p.m. Emergencies officials responded as workers applied pressure to slow the bleeding. He was taken to an area hospital and later died.
A co-worker told FOX25 that he has children. OSHA is currently on scene investigating.
FOX25 originally reported it was a chainsaw, but has since learned it was a cut-off saw.
