Worker killed in Holliston called a model employee

NORFOLK, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have identified the tree worker who died after his chain saw came in contact with power lines in Holliston.

Ryan Hopkins of Norfolk died at a Boston hospital after being shocked and burned while trimming branches from a bucket truck about 20 feet up on Tuesday afternoon.

The 26-year-old Hopkins worked for a commercial landscaping company.

Mark Ahronion of Ahronian Landscaping and Design called Hopkins a model employee. He had worked for the company for 10 years, starting while still attending Norfolk County Agricultural High School in Walpole.

The death is under investigation by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Hopkins is survived by his mother and a twin brother.
