BOSTON — Work on the Boston Marathon Memorial will continue Wednesday with crews set to install another pillar at the Boylston Street site.

One lane on Boylston Street will be closed from Exeter Street as workers install a bronze spire and another lighted pillar at the finish line, part of a multiphased installation honoring the lives lost in the Marathon bombing.

Earlier this month, the first pillar went up during the initial phase of the installation after years of planning.
