Woman injured after jewelry comes in contact with battery at N.H. Walmart

HUDSON, N.H. — A woman at the Walmart in Hudson, New Hampshire was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after a piece of her jewelry came in contact with a battery, creating a small arc.

First responders were called to the store just after 5 p.m. Thursday.

A fire captain told Boston 25 News the battery didn’t explode and the store wasn’t evacuated.

The woman was taken to a hospital with a minor injury, according to the fire captain.

The store is open from 6 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving.
