Wayland police searching for man who asked child to get in his vehicle

The man was driving a small black sedan, according to police

WAYLAND, Mass. — Wayland police are searching for a man who they say stopped and asked a child if she wanted to get into his vehicle.

The incident was reported on Rice Road.

The child, who didn’t know the man, immediately returned to her friend’s house for help and the man left the area in a small black sedan.

The person was described as a white male with black hair and darker eyes with bushy eyebrows. He also had a wider jaw, was possibly between 30 and 40 years old and looked like he worked out.
