Wareham woman charged with assaulting 2 police officers & paramedic

WAREHAM, Mass. — A Wareham woman is accused of kicking a paramedic and two police officers, according to police.

Wareham Police and Wareham EMS responded to the Rosewood Motel around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of an injured person.

Officers encountered Brandierose Woodard, 25, who they said required medical attention at a hospital following a disturbance.

Woodard was taken to the police station after being treated at Tobey Hospital.

Police said Woodard kicked a paramedic in the face, one officer in the head and another officer in the groin area.

Woodard is charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery on ambulance personnel, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. She was expected to be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Wednesday.
