A Somerset man was killed in a crash on Route 195 in Somerset, according to Massachusetts State Police.
The crash happened on Route 195 eastbound in Somerset around 12:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The preliminary investigation shows that 66-year-old Somerset native Delton Pacheco's car was broken down in the acceleration lane, and Pacheco was in front of his car with the hood up.
A 60-year-old Swansea woman then drove into the back of Pacheco's car, pushing it into him and forcing the car into a ditch on the right side of the road. The woman's car ended up in the right and middle lanes of the highway.

Both drivers were taken to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where Pacheco was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash, and the name of the other driver will not be released until the investigation is complete and if charges are filed.
