LAWRENCE, Mass. — Investigators have released the identity of a Lawrence woman killed in a violent crash early Thursday morning.
A 20-year-old Lawrence woman was driving on Winthrop Avenue when her car was hit by another vehicle traveling on South Union Street.

She received serious injuries and was med-flighted to a Boston hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Her passenger, who was identified as 24-year-old Gabriela Hernandez, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three people in the other vehicle, who have only been identified as a 31-year-old Lawrence man, a 29-year-old Lawrence man and a 29-year-old Methuen man, were all taken to Lawrence General Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
No charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation.
