Victim dies after attack, 'Ghostbusters' cameraman helps police track suspect

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) - A cameraman working on the new "Ghostbusters" movie helped Boston authorities track down a suspect accused of shoving a woman, who later died, to the ground.

Authorities say 72-year-old Yuzhen Lei was walking in the Chinatown section of the city Thursday afternoon when she bumped into 24-year-old Tajanetta Downing. Authorities say Downing pushed Lei, who then hit her head on the pavement. Lei was rushed to Tufts Medical Center with a serious, life-threatening head injury. Later that evening, officials confirmed that Lei had died.

A spokesman for the Suffolk County District Attorney's office says the cameraman gave police a description that helped officers find Downing.

Downing was arraigned Friday on assault charges and ordered held on $75,000 cash bail. Her attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

Officials say the state medical examiner's office will determine the cause of Lei's death and new charges have not been ruled out.

The "Ghostbusters" movie, starring Melissa McCarthy, has been filming in Boston since last month.
