UXBRIDGE, Mass. — Complaint after complaint. A simple change to the trash collection schedule in Uxbridge has left homeowners holding onto garbage a lot longer than they would like.
Customers of Republic Services say they have been waiting nearly two weeks for trash collection.
Republic Services' website states "our customers can count on reliable and safe service with a 99.9 percent pickup reliability rate."
As of Wednesday morning, Jason Wood is a member of Republic's one percent.
"So, the recycling has been sitting out there for, since Monday," said Wood.
Republic recently informed Wood and other customers in Uxbridge their trash pickup was changing by just one day. That's when he says things got twister. His trash got picked up, but not his recyclables.

"Your guess is as good as mine," said Wood.
He's not the only one guessing when a Republic truck will show up.
Uxbridge residents took to Facebook with more complaints, some saying they've been three weeks without a collection.
Republic Services has a facility in Auburn. It has a Massachusetts phone number, but when you call the 508 number, it goes to Phoenix, Arizona. Some think that's part of the problem.
Boston 25 News called Republic Services media line and sent an email. Hours later, we still haven't heard back.
