TEWKSBURY, Mass. — TEWKSBURY, Mass. -- A dump truck driver suffered minor injuries after missing a turn and crashing into a home Monday afternoon in Tewksbury.
According the Fire Chief Michael Hazel, the crash happened on Shawsheen Street around 3 p.m.
"There are signs that say slow down, curve ahead – I mean how much can you do at that point," one resident said.
According to Tewksbury Fire Department Chief Hazel, the truck went off the road, hit a stump and barreling into the house.
Neighbors tell Boston 25 News the area where Monday's crash happened is often the scene of similar accidents.
A teenage boy was home at the time of the crash, but he was not injured.
Police are still investigating what caused the driver to miss the turn.
