BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart will be closing its doors later at most stores beginning next week, the retail giant said in a statement Friday.
The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retail chain announced that closing time will be moved from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. beginning Monday.
The change will affect more than 4,000 of the Walmart stores, the company said in its news release.
Walmart also announced that it would hold a senior shopping hour on Tuesdays for customers 60 and older. That will occur one hour before the store officially opens. Pharmacies and vision centers will also be open at that time, according to the news release.
