PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Emmy Award-winning Pittsburgh rapper Frzy has unofficially broken the Guinness World Record for the longest freestyle rap.

He started at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Block Northway and went 31 hours straight.

“It’s something that he’s been wanting to do, to put Pittsburgh on the map for his music, and in addition, during the 31 hours, he is raising money for Music Cares," said event organizer John Chamberlin.

All of the videos and data collected will now be sent to the Guinness officials for evaluation and confirmation.

Music Cares helps musicians in need.
