Officials: Body of missing woman found 12 years later in Utah

DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah — The body of a woman who went missing 12 years ago was found in Utah, officials say.

According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office in a news release, the body of Amy Louise Westreicher was found in Duchesne County, Utah.

DCSO said the human remains were found by a landowner and they were sent to the Utah Office of Medical Examiners to be identified.

Westreicher went missing in 2010 from a home when she was 32 years old. She was living in Roosevelt City at the time of her disappearance, according to KSTU.

No further information has been released including where the remains were found, said KSTU.
