According to the Haines City Police Department, Michael Calvo, 51, was making a delivery in the back of the shopping center when his truck tore an awning off the building and hit an unoccupied pickup truck, pushing it for about 200 feet, WINK-TV reported.

According to WINK, Calvo told an officer who approached his rig after the crash that he thought he was being “pranked” by a television show and resisted exiting the tractor.

Officers said both vehicles were totaled, WBBH-TV reported.

When officers later asked Calvo, of Cape Coral, if he fell asleep at the wheel, had been drinking or had a medical emergency, he replied, “I was smoking my meth pipe,” WBBH reported.

Calvo is facing charges of methamphetamine possession, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest without violence and possession of narcotics paraphernalia, WINK reported.
