Charlie Woods, Tiger Woods’ son, dominates in tournament; dad serves as caddie

History could repeat itself on the greens. Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie Woods, is following in his father’s footsteps, dominating a recent tournament.

Charlie Woods, 11 years old, won a US Kids Golf event at Hammock Creek in Palm City, Florida, this weekend. His father served as the pre-teen’s caddie, lugging the golf clubs for the nine-hole tournament, CBS Sports reported.

Charlie Woods shot 3-under 33, winning the tournament with three birdies, beating the next player by five strokes. He was competing in the age 11 category, CNN reported.

He was the only one to finish the tournament under par.

According to his biography, Tiger Woods was only 2 years old when he appeared on “The Mike Douglas Show” putting with Bob Hope. He was featured in Golf Digest when he was 5. His first professional tournament was the Los Angeles Open in 1992 when Tiger Woods was only 16. Over his career, Tiger Woods had 82 all-time PGA Tour victories, tying Sam Snead for the most wins. He is second when it comes to all majors won, trailing Jack Nicklaus by only two wins.

Tiger Woods has two children with ex-wife Elin Nordegren: Charlie Woods and Sam Woods, who is 13.
