Actor Mark Wahlberg donated $20,000 to an Ohio foster care organization.

Walhberg, and business partner Jay Feldman, made the donation to Buckeye Ranch, an organization that operates foster homes in 23 counties in Ohio, according to the group's Nov. 14 Facebook post.

The donation came in two parts -- $10,000 from Wahlberg and Feldman's Columbus, Ohio, Chevrolet car dealership, and $10,000 from the actor's Mark Wahlberg Youth foundation.

The organization serves children and families through family-focused mental health treatment and services for behavioral, psychological and substance-abuse disorders.

Walhberg has been promoting his latest movie, “Instant Family,” in which his character and his character’s wife adopt siblings in the foster care system.
