Elephants save calf from drowning working in tandem to pull it from pool

SEOUL, South Korea — A pair of elephants worked together to rescue a baby pachyderm that fell into a pool at a zoo in Seoul, South Korea.

The rescue was caught on camera at the Grand Park Zoo.

A third elephant can be seen in a pen in the background, also distressed over the episode.

After the baby slipped into the large pool, the frantic adults moved quickly, reaching the calf and holding its head up until they could maneuver the baby into the shallow water and out of the pool.
