BOSTON — The MBTA, Amtrak and Keolis Commuter Rail services are advising riders of cancellations due to the nor'easter that hit New England on Friday.
Strong winds, heavy rain, flooding and downed trees and wires either delayed or caused many trains to be canceled on Friday.
Roads were also impacted as numerous trees and wires forced crews to shut them down.
Amtrak has canceled all Amtrak service on the Northeast Corridor from Friday afternoon until Saturday due to hazardous conditions.
"Despite our best effort to restore service between BOS and WAS today, we have determined at this time it is not safe to do so," a tweet from Amtrak said.
MBTA announced they would be suspending all ferry service from Friday through Saturday due to severe weather.
Several Commuter Rail lines were affected by the storm, where some trains were delayed for 30 minutes to an hour and many others were canceled.
A string of cancellations on Newburyport/Rockport line was announced today because of earlier high tides and heavier periods of rain. The worst of the storm is expected to impact riders later in the evening as well, which is why the last round trips are being canceled to protect scheduled service for Saturday.
Newbury/Rockport trains 120, 193, 194, 171, 176, 128, 129, 182, 183 128, 129, 182, and 183 have been canceled this evening.
Due to anticipated flooding at high tide, the MBTA is preparing to replace Blue Line trains with bus shuttles between Orient Heights and Beachmont Stations after 11 p.m.
The Blue Line Aquarium Station has re-opened, but the Atlantic Ave. entrance remains closed due to flooding.
Bus shuttle services replaced Green Line D branch service between Reservoir and Riverside stations due to a downed tree at Woodland and at Chestnut Hill.

Several flights have been canceled in light of severe weather. Boston Logan Airport reached out to customers today warning them to check with their airlines for the latest information regarding their flights.
