BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating after thieves broke into two cars that were parked inside the Boston Children’s Hospital Garage over the weekend.
Officers responded to the first a call at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday for larceny from a motor. The caller told police she works at a hospital in the area and had parked her car on the 4th floor of Boston Children’s garage at around 11:30 a.m.
When the victim returned to her car several hours later at around 8:15 p.m., she noticed the rear passenger side window of her car had been smashed in. She also stated that several items had been stolen from inside the car.
Hours later, police received another call for another larceny report at the same garage. The caller told police she had parked her car on the 4th floor of the hospital garage as well around 8 a.m. on Sunday and when she returned to her car hours later at 7:45 p.m. she found her driver’s side window had been broken.
Along with some more damage to the door panel, the victim also stated several items were stolen from the car.
The Boston Globe reports both victims were Boston Children’s emergency room nurses.
So far, police have not made any arrests.
