Tewksbury man arrested for rash of recent house breaks

TEWKSBURY (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 23-year-old Tewksbury man was arrested on Saturday following an investigation into several house breaks in the Pringle Street area of Tewksbury.

William A. Medugno is charged with four counts of breaking and entering and larceny. He also has four outstanding warrants.

During the investigation, police identified Medugno as a possible suspect. The information led detectives to Medugno's residence at 18 Pringle Street.

Medugno reportedly fled out of the back of the home, but was detained by police.

The property stolen from the four residences is believed to have a value in excess of $13,000.

During booking, Medugno confessed to the house breaks at 20 Pace Rd., 54 Pringle St., 90 Barbara D. Lane, and 60 Pringle Street.

Several pieces of stolen property were recovered from Medugno's residence, including an Xbox with games, coins and $2 bills, a black duffle bag, and jewelry.
