Taylor Swift moves on from Cape, buys summer home in R.I.

WESTERLY, R.I. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Taylor Swift appears to be moving on from her short real estate stint in Cape Cod to a multi-million dollar home in the Ocean State.

TMZ is reporting the singer purchased a Rhode Island beach property for $17.75 million. She was spotted at the home Saturday.

According to the Daily Mail, Swift's new multi-million dollar summer house is in the Watch Hill section of Westerly, R.I., which is just under 50 miles south of Providence near the Connecticut border.

Swift sold her Hyannis Port home located near the Kennedy compound in March after a breakup with Conor Kennedy. Swift purchased the home last year during her brief relationship with Robert F. Kennedy's grandson.
