BEDFORD, Mass. — Bedford Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a business and stole a company van.
Police were called to the Riggio Auto Repair shop on Great Road just before midnight.
A suspect broke into the shop, stole a company van and then drove it through the glass doors.
A passerby noticed the car crashing though the glass as it happened and called police.
The van was seen fleeing north on Great Road toward Billerica.
The suspect is described as a white man with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and has a tattoo on his right forearm.
The van was located Thursday afternoon by an employee of the auto repair shop as they were going to the Lowell registry of motor vehicles.
