(MyFoxBoston.com) -- An environmental group says crayons offered to kids at many restaurants may be toxic.
A new study found asbestos in four brands of crayons made in China. Each had microscopic asbestos fibers, which kids could inhale.
One of the brands sells crayons packaged in small boxes specifically made for restaurants.
The authors of the study have sent a letter to the National Restaurant Association. They are urging managers to make sure children are provided asbestos-free crayons.
