Still no arrests 6 months after deadly shooting in Manchester neghborhood

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Six months ago, a 62-year-old New Hampshire woman was shot and killed while out for a walk in a quiet neighborhood.

The murder of Denise Robert stunned her community and as the investigation continues police have still not made any arrests.

FOX25's Bob ward spoke to detectives working on the case, and Denise's family, which is still struggling to understand what happened.

“I don't want to say we're going to get over it, she will always be missed,” Denise’s brother Tom Robert said.

Denise, a New Hampshire newspaper sales person, was killed on Aug. 30, 2015.

Police have a vague description of the killer and his vehicle, but according to Chief Nick Willard said there is still no suspect.

“We are six months into the investigation, and thus far, we've gone through a great number of leads, we've exhausted most of them,” he said.

A person seen in the area was described as a white man wearing a white tank top, short hair and driving a red pickup truck.

“Given the case facts that we have, we are assuming that they fired, this gentleman fired from the vehicle, the pickup truck,” Willard said,

Investigators say still don’t know if Denise Robert was targeted, or if she was the victim of random violence.

There is a $40,000 reward offered in this case, and anyone with information is asked to call the Manchester Police Department.
