CLINTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) Sources tell FOX 25 Mass. State Police were in Clinton on Friday to chase down a possible lead in a homicide investigation.
SKYFOX was over the investigation at Mossy Pond on Fitch Road. A police boat could be seen in the water. Police from Fitchburg and Clinton assisted in the search, which was called off for the day by late afternoon.
Officials say there is no immediate threat to anyone in the area.
While investigators did not release many details about their search, the Worcester County District Attorney confirms that they are also involved in the investigation.
