ORLANDO, Fl. — FOX25 has learned that an arrest is expected of a person believed to have helped coordinate the Orlando shooting.

FOX25's Vanessa Welch is in Orlando where she learned Monday evening the arrest would likely happen in the next 24 hours somewhere in Florida.

At least two of the victims have ties to Massachusetts, and one of the bartenders from the club is also from Western Mass.

The gunman, Omar Mateen, has family from Afghanistan but is an American citizen from Florida.

Mateen killed 49 people inside the Pulse nightclub and injured more than 50 others, several of whom are still hospitalized in 'grave condition.'

Vigils for the victims were held across the world, and many international newspapers honored the victims on their front pages.
