UXBRIDGE, Mass. — Police are investigating after someone shot at a cruiser with an airsoft gun in Uxbridge.
The incident happened Wednesday around 11 p.m. as the officer was driving eastbound on Mendon Street near W. River Road.
Police said the shot missed the cruiser, and as the officer then pulled around, he saw seeing the suspect run off.
Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect.
Police said there is an increasing number of these incidents recently in Uxbridge, as well as surrounding towns.
