SHARON, Mass. — One person has died and four others injured after a crash in Sharon, police say.
Around 11:30 Friday morning, Sharon Police were called to North Main Street near Chive Drive for a reported crash.
Responding officers found a 3-car crash with two people trapped; one inside a pickup truck on its roof and another trapped in a van.
Another person was taken by helicopter to Boston Medical Center and is expected to survive. Three others suffered minor injuries.
Police say one driver, a 58-year-old Brockton man, was pronounced dead. His name was not released.
A section of North Main Street was shut down and detoured between Bay Road and Canton Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
