Second suspect arrested in connection with murder of Waltham teen

WALTHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The second suspect wanted in connection with the March 20 shooting of a Waltham teen was arrested Thursday.

Domingo Mendes, 22, of Belmont, turned himself in and was arrested on an outstanding warrant for murder, possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws. He will be arraigned Friday.

Taylor Poulin, 21, of Newton was arrested in Maine earlier this month on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed possession of a firearm, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Both Mendes and Poulin were allegedly involved in the murder of Tyler Zanco, 17, in late March in the parking lot of the Gardencrest Apartments in Waltham.
