BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Another repair job is underway in Bridgewater after another school roof collapse.
Although students were on school vacation, the building was evacuated after the ceiling caved at George Mitchell Elementary School. School staff told FOX25 that there was a 40 x 40 foot hole in one classroom and about a foot of snow came into the building.
They are now scrambling to get the school ready for when students return from break. Class is cancelled Monday, and when elementary students come back Tuesday, they'll be in the middle school instead.
Officials say it will take weeks if not months to make the school safe.
