A spokesperson for former Senate President Stan Rosenberg confirms he has separated from his husband, Bryon Hefner.
The separation comes after numerous accusations of sexual misconduct were made against Hefner.

Rosenberg stepped down from his post as Massachusetts Senate President last month as the investigation into his husband's conduct began.
He was replaced by Majority Leader Harriette Chandler.

Rosenberg has not been accused of wrongdoing, and expressed shock over the allegations.
