Quincy teen stabbed during attempted marijuana robbery

WEYMOUTH, Mass. — A Quincy teen was stabbed Thursday after a suspect tried to rob her during a marijuana sale.

Weymouth Police responded to a report of a possible stabbing Thursday night around 5 p.m. on Newton Street in Weymouth. Officers met the 17-year-old victim standing on the sidewalk with a stab wound in her arm.

The woman said she had been dropped off to sell marijuana, and was invited by the buyer into their home.

The suspect tried to grab the bag of marijuana before grabbing a knife during a scuffle and stabbing the victim in the arm.

The suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived, and the incident is still under investigation by Weymouth Police.
