Police search for suspects involved in pharmacy armed robbery

ASHBURNHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are looking for a man who they say committed an armed robbery of a pharmacy, and his potential accomplice.

At around 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Family Pharmacy in Ashburnham on Main Street was robbed by a man at gunpoint. After pointing the gun at pharmacy employees, he stole what police describe as "a small amount of cash and a large amount of prescription medication."

The man is described as white, in his 20's to 30's, approximately 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighing around 200 to 220 pounds with a stocky build. He also had a brown beard and a tattoo of the letters "LOVE" across his left hand fingers.

He was wearing a black, long-sleeve T-shirt with "skull toboggan" in white letters on the front and "suffering servant" on the back, with white flames on the sleeves. He also wore blue jeans, black sneakers with a white Nike logo, and a grey baseball cap with the Batman logo.

Police believe the man may have been driven to the pharmacy by a woman driving a red, 4-door compact sedan with different front and rear wheels. The car had Massachusetts license plate, and partial numbers on the plate read "94_ _02".

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ashburnham Police Department at 978-827-4413.
